Infrared welding
Infra-red welding becomes more important, in particular, for large-surface components and complex welding seam geometries. Emitters heat the surfaces at a precisely-defined depth; with power and exposure time that can specified infinitely-variable. This allows for a controlled joining process – the plastics starts to melt immediately, and solid and clean connections are generated.
The greatest benefit of infra-red welding is the touch-less heating of the parts allowing for the execution of demanding 3D contours and the realisation of sophisticated design variants. Our state-of-the-art WELDPROFI machines are fitted with various clamping inserts and return excellent results.
